Larry Shane, a National Board Certified
teacher, received his bachelor’s degree in Music
from the University of Miami in 1991 and his
master’s degree in Education from the University
of Central Florida in 2004. He is the Band Director at West Boca Raton High School, with previous experience teaching high schools in both Florida and North Carolina. He is a former soprano (trumpet) soloist with both the Florida Wave from Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Blue Devils from Concord, CA, and is a former drum major of the University of Miami “Band of the Hour”.
